Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

Ever get a burning urge to download a new album from one of the greatest bands of all time for free with out breaking any laws? Well Nine Inch Nails have kindly relieved you of your burning urge (and let’s face it, it ain’t the first time) by releasing their new album ‘The Slip’ on their website, along with the following comment:

as a thank you to our fans for your continued support, we are giving away the new nine inch nails album one hundred percent free, exclusively via nin.com.

the music is available in a variety of formats including high-quality MP3, FLAC or M4A lossless at CD quality and even higher-than-CD quality 24/96 WAVE. your link will include all options – all free. all downloads include a PDF with artwork and credits.

for those of you interested in physical products, fear not. we plan to make a version of this release available on CD and vinyl in july. details coming soon.

Buy it Download it here!.

Did I mention it’s free?
The only possible downside is that you don’t get to feel like you’re a badass pirate who’s f*cking the system by downloading music illegally while humming Breaking the Law a la Beavis and Butthead. You’ll probably miss that feeling.

w00t for dotcommunism!
